ASDargah Shariff of Hazrat Khwaja Muinuddin Chishti is indeed an ornament to the city of Ajmer. One of the Muslim shrines in India, it attracts, millions of pilgrims from across India and the world. AMuseumThe Government Museum is situated inside the Akbar’s fort in Ajmer, also known as Magazine. The museum primarily consist of Sculptures, inscriptions, pre-historic section, miniature paintings, arms and armor and objects of art and crafts. The museum remains open daily from 10.00 A.M. to 4.30P.M. Museum remain closed on public holidays. Besides, some interesting Jain figures are also displayed in a separate gallery. Sculptures constitute the most interesting section in the museum. Today it houses a rich collection of Mughal and Rajput armoury. ShedAdhai-Din-Ka-Jhonpra Ajmer is a superb example of Indo-Islamic architecture. It is believed that it was constructed in two and a half days, hence called as Adhai-Din (two and a half days). It is also believed that the name is associated to a 2 and a 1/2 day fair held annually nearby. Enter through the north gateway and see the ruin of a minaret in the right side. A staircase will take you to a tower from where the muezzin called the faithful. Yellow limestone arches mark the front side of façade. The walls of the main hall are chiseled into small screens to allow sunlight to enter. The core of the Jhonpra looks like a Hindu temple than that of a mosque, with a main hall prop up by splendid columns. Three pillars are positioned over in such a way that the shrine looks more elevated than the actual height. With its exquisitely carved ceilings, exceptionally designed columns, this marvelous structure catches the attention of any tourist.

ASLAna Sagar Lake is an artificial lake. It is was built by Anaji Chauhan, the grandfather of Prithvi Raj Chauhan. The lake is spread over 13 Kilometers. There is a Circuit house on a hill near the lake that used to be British Residency. There is an island in the center of the lake which is accessible by boat or water scooter.
