Andhra Pradesh tourism is known as KohiNoor of India. It has always been the frontrunner in attracting greatest number of tourists as it boasts of a naturally, ecologically, culturally & religiously rich and diverse variety of tourist destinations that are treasures of visual treat where anyone can explore new experiences of tourism. Abounding charin natural resources, the state of Andhra Pradesh having the longest eastern coastline and with a trail of Buddha Period glory, houses and holds many heritage sites adorned with pristine splendor, the forts, citadels and architectural masterpieces built by the past Royal hegemony and its noble Emperors. There is Hawa Mahal, an intricate miniature Golconda Fort, which is on a hilltop from which one can have a Bird’s-eye view of the whole studio. The massive dreamscape vibrant with flamboyant locales, picturesque avenues, make-believe sets and outstanding film-making infrastructure make it as filmmakers’ paradise.
The famous places in Andhra Pradesh are: Hyderabad :- Hyderabad is the capital of Andhra Pradesh. One of the metropolitan cities, Hyderabad has a number of sightseeing sites for the tourists. Various mosques, markets, bridges, lakes, hills etc are housed in this city. Salar Jung museum and Charminar are the most popular destinations in the city. Srisailam :- Located on the banks of Krishna River, this small city is a popular destination for weekend trips. The major attractions of this city are the Nallamalai Hills, dams, and some ancient temples. If you want to visit wildlife in this city, you can visit the hill forests. Tirupati :- Located in Chittoor, Tirupati is located on the southeastern part of the state. It is one of the most popular pilgrimage centers for the Hindus. Tirupati is also known as Tirumala that is far-famed for the Sri Venkateshwara Temple, purely consecrated to Lord Vishnu. Vijayawada : – Located on the delta of Krishna River, Vijayawada is a famous destination in Andhra Pradesh. The city is known for its railway station. Krishna River along with its surrounding valleys offer beautiful sightseeing sites. Surrounded by hills, this city offers some amazing natural sites. Vishakhapatnam :- Popularly known as Vizag, Vishakhapatnam is a developed industrial area and popular tourist destination. The main attractions of this city are the beaches, beautiful beaches, and enchanting valleys. Warangal : – Warangal the ancient Kakatiya Kingdom has everything to satisfy the thirst of tourist all over the world. This is a place of historical importance. You can visit the ancient temples, antiques, and relics. The pristine lakes and amazing range of wildlife are the main focuses for the nature lovers in this city. |
