Ranthambore National park is majorly famous for its tigers and is one of the best locations in India to see the majestic predators in their natural habitat. It received it’s status of a National Park in year 1981. The tigers can be easily spotted even during the day time busy at their ordinary quest- hunting and taking proper care of their young ones. Ranthambhore is also counted as the famous heritage site because of the pictorial ruins that dot the wildlife park. Ranthambore National Park Safari is a treat for every wildlife and nature lover. The animals of Ranthambore National Park are native to the dry deciduous forest environment. The Jeep Safari in Ranthambore takes tourists during the release plain, covering of wilds and added wooded regions inside Ranthambore National park.

Ranthambhore Fort is situated within the premises of Ranthambhore National Park on the top of Thanbhore hill. The fort offers a lovely view of the surrounding areas. The Ranthambore fort is surrounded by massive stone walls which are strengthened by towers. The main approach to the Fort lies through a narrow valley, which had four fortified gateways. Of these, only the first gate – Misradhara gate, is still standing. There are many ruined buildings inside the Fort, with Hammir’s Court, Badal Mahal, Dhula Mahal and Phansi Ghar being the most prominent of them. The Fort also has many cenotaphs, temples and gates. The Ganesh Temple, which lies very close to the main entry gate to the Fort, attracts a steady flow of pilgrims, mainly from the rural hinterland. During the annual Ganesh festival, tens of thousands of pilgrims visit the temple, from all over the country.

Chamatkar Temple is the most popular Jain temple located in the Sawai Madhopur city in Indian state of Rajasthan. It is one of the most frequented destinations in the town, especially by the Jain devotees. This is conveniently located just 2 km from the city center. The word ‘Chamatkar’ means miracle. It has such a name as there are a number of miracles attached to the temple. The temple is dedicated to Lord Adinath. The prime attraction of the temple is the number of Jain Tirthankaras idols. There is also a belief attached to the temple that wishes made at this temple are always fulfilled. Along with being a highly revered destination, the temple is also an example of beautiful architecture and thus attracts thousands of history and architecture lovers. Visiting this temple is a must during your journey to Sawai Madhopur.

Maan Sarowar Dam is a irrigation Dam, which is located at a distance of 15 Km from Sawai Madhopur City . The dam is on south western periphery of Ranthambhore Park and forms its boundary too. It is 33 feet in height and remains filled with water throughout the year. Plenty of fishing activities with trekking around will be new programs here. An irrigation rest house at the base of embankment is the only facility here.

Jaisalmer Fort is a monument worth visiting and worth retaining in your conscious mind. It is located in the very heart of the city. It is opened till 5 P.M. The fort stands almost 30 metres over the city and houses an entire living area within huge ramparts. Walking through the narrow lanes is an experience worth savouring. It is approached through Ganesh Pol, Suraj Pol, Bhoot Pol and Hawa Pol. Also, within it there are many beautiful havelies and a group of Jain temples. Jaisalmer Fort will immediately command your attention. Made of sand stones and locally known as Sonar Quila, the Jaisalmer Fort is a dominating structure amidst sands. Jaisalmer fort is the second oldest in Rajasthan.

Desert National Park is situated near the town of Jaisalmer. This is one of the largest national parks, covering an area of 3162 km². The Desert National Park is an excellent example of the ecosystem of the Thar Desert. Sand dunes form around 20% of the Park. The major landform consists of craggy rocks and compact salt lake bottoms, intermedial areas and fixed dunes.The region is a haven for migratory and resident birds of the desert. Many eagles, harriers, falcons, buzzards, kestrel and vultures can be seen. Short-toed Eagles, Tawny Eagles, Spotted Eagles, Laggar Falcons and kestrels are the most common among these. Sand grouse are spotted near small ponds or lakes. The endangered Great Indian Bustard is a magnificent bird found in relatively fair numbers. It migrates locally in different seasons.

Sam sand dunes are becoming the major attraction because there is no point coming to the ‘Thar Desert’ if you don’t go for the Desert Safari. This is the closest place from where you can loose yourself in ‘the Great Thar Desert’. Sam has a truly magnificent stretch of sweeping dunes, with sparse or no vegetation. Join a camel caravan at Jaisalmer & ride along the breathtaking crests and troughs. Enjoy the romance of solitude as your camel takes you deep in the hearts of the ‘Thar Desert’. Put yourself in the camp and experience the sun setting behind the horizon. Organize a bonfire with the fellow tourists in the night and enjoy the rustic & earthy music and dance of Rajasthan. In the month of February or March, this whole place turns into a cultural hub. The desert festival organized among these dunes is the showcase of Rajasthani culture. Open-air cultural extravaganzas, puppet shows, folk dance performances and camel races make this annual event.

Patwon-ki- Haveli, the five-storied and the most grandiose, it was the first & the largest haveli erected in Jaisalmer. The whole building is made in yellow sandstone and brown main gateway with good amount of paintings, mirror-works on the wall, exquisitely carved pillars, corridors and chambers; noteworthy that this effort took half a century. The entire haveli is and interesting grid of pillared halls, large corridors, lavishly chiseled ceilings and ostentatiously decorated walls. Haveli has been turned into a museum and a shop that has a vast reserve of antique furniture and decorative goods. The Patwon-ki- Haveli reflects the unique architecture of Jaisalmer of the traditional times in Rajasthan.

Dudh Talai is a fabulous attraction in Udaipur, serving as one of the top destinations to travel to in the city. This creative, artistic rock garden holds mystic, beauty and history. The Vintage & Classic Car Collection is a landmark in the city of Udaipur ever since it was inaugurated in February 2000. The place is called Vintage Car Museum, located right next to The Garden Hotel . The collection within the grounds of the Garden Hotel comprises a variety of classic and interestingly rare transportation vehicles; some stately and vintage like Cadalec, Chevalate, Morais etc., while the others are sleek and fast. The Collection has been curated for the benefit of vintage car-lovers from India and all over the world; it is probably the only collection of its kind in India about which the global and indian press has written reams. All the 24 vehicles on display are maintained and are in running condition.

Fateh Sagar Lake is situated in the north of Lake Picholas. Fateh Sagar Lake, is a man-made lake of utter beauty and appeal, was constructed as a popular hiking and picnic spot. It is quiet place where people usually come for relaxation and to lighten up amidst the serene waters of the lake. The stunning, picture perfect landscape of thriving green hills and woods surrounding the peaceful water offers an eye-opening and life changing experience. Fateh Sagar Lake is embellished by 3 small islands, which can be reached by taking a boat ride in the lake. The largest island of the lake is developed into a park by the name of Nehru Park. The 2nd island is converted into a public park with brilliant water-jet fountains. The 3rd island addresses Udaipur Solar Observatory, which is the best solar observing site in Asia. Talking about the statistics of Fateh Sagar, the lake extends to the length of 2.4 km, 1.6 km. in width and deep to the extent of 11.5 meter.

Gulab Bagh is the largest garden in Rajasthan, on the banks of Lake Pichola at Lake Palace Road. This peaceful garden is a virtual forest of flowers with unusual rose beds, palm trees, orchids and acres of lush lawns. One of the best places in Udaipur to spend early mornings and late evenings. Gulab Bagh is a favorite haunt of the locals especially on weekends owing to the greenery it affords and the toy train within the garden premises. A library in the garden has a collection of ancient handwritten manuscripts and books. Kids especially love this place because of the small in-site zoo home to an array of wildlife such as chinkara, leopards, tigers, gazelle and some exotic birds among others. Children can enjoy mini train, track of which covers the main part of the garden and the zoo.

Hawa Mahal,  The renowned ‘Palace Of The Winds’,  is one of the prominent tourist attractions in Jaipur city. Located in the heart of Jaipur, this beautiful five-storey palace was constructed in 1799 by Maharaja Sawai Pratap Singh who belonged to Kachhwaha Rajput dynasty.The original intention of the lattice was to allow royal ladies to observe everyday life in the street below without being seen, since they had to observe strict face cover. The entry to the Hawa Mahal from the city palace side is through an imperial door. It opens into a large courtyard, which has double storeyed buildings on three sides, with the Hawa Mahal enclosing it on the east side. The interior of the Mahal has been described as “having rooms of different coloured marbles, relieved by inlaid panels or gilding; while fountains adorn the centre of the courtyard.

Birla Temple, Jaipur At the foot of Moti Dungri fort is the Birla Temple. This temple forms one of the major attractions of Jaipur. The enormous temple was built during the year 1988, by Birla Group of Industries, one of the business tycoons of India. Birla Mandir is constructed in the finest quality of white marble. The images of Lakshmi and Narayan attract the attention. This temple is a proud architectural landmark of Jaipur. Built in pure white marble, the Birla Temple is unlike the traditional ancient Hindu temples, and is built with a modern approach. Delicate carvings of Hindu symbols, and ancient quotes from the Geeta and the Upanishads ornament the walls of this fascinating temple. One can also recognize the mythological events engraved on the walls. Apart from the religious idols, pictures and figures of several religious saints, philosophers and historical achievers, like Socrates, Buddha, Zarathustra and Confucius, are also included in the temple. A work of art, this temple truly represents architectural beauty, in a modern form.

City Palace, which includes the Chandra Mahal and Mubarak Mahal palaces and other buildings. The City Palace is in the central-northeast part of the Jaipur city, which is laid in a grid pattern with wide avenues. It is a unique and arresting complex of several palaces, pavilions, gardens and temples. The most visited structures in the complex are the Chandra Mahal (Moon Palace), Mubarak Mahal, Mukut Mahal, Maharani’s Palace, Shri Govind Dev Temple and the City Palace Museum. Upon visiting the magnificant City Palace, it’s easy to see that the royal family of Jaipur was one of the richest in India. The huge complex of courtyards, gardens, and buildings blend both Rajasthani and Mughal architecture. The Peacock Gate is exquisite, and contains an alluring display of detailed workmanship featuring bright peacocks. Also inside the City Palace complex is a  interesting displays of royal costumes and old Indian weapons.

Jantar-Mantar is a collection of architectural astronomical instruments, built by Maharaja (King) Jai Singh. Jantar Mantar at Jaipur of Rajasthan was conceived as a quest for discovering the mysteries of the Cosmos. Jantar Mantar is located close to the gate of the famous City Palace of Jaipur of Rajasthan. Jantar Mantar of Jaipur in Rajasthan is the biggest stone observatory in the world, which is still in a running condition and stands witness to the wisdom of the former age. The astronomical observatory consists of fourteen major geometric devices for measuring time, tracking constellations and, even for, observing the orbits around the sun. Popular structures within the Jantar Mantar are the ‘Samrat Yantra’ (the world’s largest sundial), the ‘Hindu Chhatri’, the ‘Jaiprakash Yantra’ and various geometric structures with astronomical devices to probe the ‘universe’.

Ramgarh Lake is an artificial lake situated near Jamwa Ramgarh in Jaipur. It lies 32 kilometres from Jaipur and covers an area of 15.5 square kilometres. At one time the lake was the main source of water supply to Jaipur city. Ramgarh is a heaven for all tourist activities to be enjoyed. It is a popular picnic spot, particularly after the rainy season. The lake offers recreation like boating between the months of October and June. Ramgarh Lake, with its scenic beauty, is surrounded by exotic wildlife species, particularly birds, and is also a famous Polo ground.The nearest airport to Ramgarh Lake is the Sanganer Airport about 45 km away. Your visit to Ramgarh Lake is incomplete without going to the Ramgarh Lodge, which has a museum and a library. So, Ramgarh Lake sure is a must visit place in Jaipur.
